OVERVIEW
The Greater Virginia Avenue Corridor (GVAC) EID exists to develop, enhance and maintain commercial areas in the Fountain Square, Fletcher Place and Holy Rosary neighborhoods along Virginia Avenue, Prospect & Shelby Streets.
An Economic Improvement District (EID) is a funding tool authorized by Indiana state statute to preserve, enhance and develop shared public spaces within a defined boundary. The EID is self-governed and self-imposed by property owners in the area. Through an equitable planning process, the EID will provide funding necessary to grow and sustain shared public spaces and infrastructure to all GVAC businesses.
